  Ernest G. Durst, 84, Salisbury RD 1, died Dec. 30, 1973, in Berlin.  Born
  July 19, 1889, in Elk Lick Township, he was a son of Silas and Elizabeth
  (Yommer) Durst.
  
  Surviving are his wife, Sophia C. Durst, Salisbury RD 1; two sons, Wilford
  Durst, Meyersdale; and Paul, Salisbury RD 1; a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis
  Beachy, Grantsville; two grandchildren; a brother, Franics Durst, and a
  sister, Mrs. Nettie Keefer, both of Salisbury RD 1.
  
  He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury, and was a
  veteran of World War I.
  
  Funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon in Thomas Funeral Home, with
  Rev. Ernest N. Rumbaugh officiating.  Interment in Salisbury Cemetery.
