  Francis G. Durst, 78, of Salisbury RD 1, died April 4, 1979 at his home.
  
  Born in Elk Lick Township, he was a son of the late Silas Durst and
  Elizabeth (Yommer) Durst.
  
  A retired foreman for the Meyersdale Branch of the old Queen City Dairy, he
  was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Salisbury.
  
  Surviving are his widow, Fredia M. (Sipple) Durst; a daughter, Mrs. Jean B.
  Meese, and a sister, Mrs. Nettie Keefer, both of Salisbury RD 1, and two
  grandchildren.
  
  Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home where services were
  conducted with the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating.  Interment, Salisbury
  Cemetery.
