Born Nov. 11, 1890, at Bittinger, Md. She was the foster daughter of the late Michael and Lydia (Stark) Legeer. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Durst, Aug. 13, 1964; 2 sons, Lester and Olen Durst; and 2 grandsons, Aleck Durst and James Beitzel. Mrs. Durst was a member of Springs Mennonite Church and was a homemaker. Survivors include: 2 sons, Robert and Roy Durst, both of Salisbury; 2 daughters, Mary Alice Beitzel, Salisbury; Bettie Moser, Severna Park, Md.; 19 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md. on Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be conducted at Springs Mennonite Church on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Lawrence Brunk and the Rev. Earl Yoder officiating. Interment, Springs Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Springs Mennonite Church. Daily American, July 06, 1996 [DO1092]
