Born Nov. 28, 1922, in Garrett County, Md., son of Lettie (Jennings) Durst of Salisbury and the late William Henry Durst. Survivors include his wife, the former Julia Walls; three daughters-Judith Melton and Cheryl Rounds, both of Vienna, Va., and Pamela Housel, Salisbury; three brothers-Lester, Robert and Roy Durst, all of Salisbury; two sisters, Mary Alice Beitzel, Salisbuty, and Bettie Moser, Severna Park, Md.; two grandchildren. He was a carpenter and a mechanic for McILwain's School Bus Line, Johnstown. Army veteran of World War II. Member of the Salisbury American Legion. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., Salisbury. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Springs Mennonite Church, with the Rev.
