Born June 23, 1939 in Springs, daughter of the late H. Gilbert and June G. (Bowman) Shoemaker. Survived by her husband, Frank R. Durst; five children, Patricia G. Durst, Salisbury, twins, Franciene J. Shugars, Grantsville, Md., and Frankie J. Durst, Cumberland, Md., JoAnn Kamp, Grantsville, Md., and John Gilbert Durst, Cumberland, Md.; one sister, Betty Lou Grew, Winchester, Va.; and nine grandchildren. She was a member of Laughlin Church of the Brethren and was a line cook and dishwasher for Penn Alps Restaurant. Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Md., where service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev.
