  DURST
  
  Retha June Durst, 62, of 3001 Amish Road, Grantsville, Md., died Nov. 24,
  2001 at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born June 23, 1939 in Springs,
  daughter of the late H. Gilbert and June G. (Bowman) Shoemaker.  Survived by
  her husband, Frank R. Durst; five children, Patricia G. Durst, Salisbury,
  twins, Franciene J. Shugars, Grantsville, Md., and Frankie J. Durst,
  Cumberland, Md., JoAnn Kamp, Grantsville, Md., and John Gilbert Durst,
  Cumberland, Md.; one sister, Betty Lou Grew, Winchester, Va.; and nine
  grandchildren.  She was a member of Laughlin Church of the Brethren and was
  a line cook and dishwasher for Penn Alps Restaurant.  Friends will be
  received from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179
  Miller St., Grantsville, Md., where service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday
  with the Rev. Erica Beglin officiating.  Interment, Durst Cemetery.
  Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Northern Garrett County Rescue
