  DURST
  
    Wilford E "Willie" Durst, 74, Meyersdale, died Jan. 8, 1998, at Sacred
  Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born May 10, 1923, in Salisbury, son of
  the late Ernest G. and Sophia (Bowser) Durst.  Preceded in death by his
  wife, the former Lois Rosenberger, Nov. 12, 1997.  Survived by a brother,
  Paul, Salisbury; and a sister, Phyllis Beachy, Grantsville, Md.; two
  nieces: Linda Horsman and Sally Miller; a grand-nephew, Russell Lawson and
  a grand-niece, Amber Miller.  Member of St. John's United Church of
  Christ.  Veteran of World War II and a member of the Meyersdale American
  Legion and VFW.  Friends will be received at Leckemby Funeral Home from 7-9
  p.m., Saturday. Service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, in Meyersdale United
  Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ray Brown and the Rev. Greg Lyman
  officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery
