Durst 54, of Salisbury RD 1, died November 30, 1987, in Larimer Twp. in a hunting accident. He was born Sept. 29, 1933, in Elk Lick Twp. a son of the late Daniel and Lorena (Mort) Durst. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James and Jack. He is survived by his wife the former Emma G. Murray, two sons Gewaine, of Salisbury and Rick, at home and one daughter Mrs. Karen Durst, Meyersdale RD 1; two grandsons Gewain Jr. and Chad. Also two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Yutzy, Taylor, Michigan and Mrs. June Gaumer, Salisbury RD 1; and three brothers, Morley, Syracuse, NY; Daniel, Dearborne, Michigan and Charles, of Taylor, Michigan. He was an employee of Pittsburgh Champion Pipe Works, Boynton; a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Salisbury. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury. Services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church with Rev.
