DURST William Charles Durst, 79, Grantsville RD 1, Md., died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 1988, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born in Grantsville, Md., Oct. 18, 1909, he was the son of the late Emmanuel E. and Ida Mae (Bittinger) Durst. He was formerly employed by the Summit Lumber Company of Uniontown, as a woodsman, and was also a farmer. He was unmarried and was a member of Oak Grove Mennonite Church. Surviving are three sisters: Melda Heavener, Meyersdale; Alverta Graham, Payne, Ohio; and Delores Sisler, with whom he resided, Grantsville, Md.; and seven neices and nephews. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md. Services were conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Oak Grove Mennonite Church, Grantsville, Md., by the Rev. Earl Yoder.
