  WILLIAM S. DURST
  
    William S. Durst, 68, of Garrett, died in Meyersdale Community Hospital,
  Jan. 11, 1977.  Born Feb. 25, 1908, in Grantsville, Md., he was a son of
  the late Elisha and Lucinda Figge Durst.
    He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Housel.
    He is survived by his widow, Violet Baker and son, William L of
  Meyersdale and a grandson, William A.
    He was a member of the Garrett United Church of Christ; the Meyersdale
  VFW and the American Legion.
    Funeral services were held Jan. 14 at Leckemby-Price Funeral Home with
  Pastor Adrian Shearer officiating.  Interment, Grantsville, Md.
