  MRS. AMANDA DURSTINE
  
    Mrs. Amanda Durstine, 61, Monessen, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, in
  Charleroi-Monessen Hospital.
    Born in Garrett, July 6, 1906, she was a daughter of John and Charlotte
  (Bittner) Heining, and has resided in Monessen for the past 35 years.
    She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Monessen.
    Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Russell Coons, Monessen; two sons,
  Abraham, Jamestown (Pa.), and George of Monessen; also eight grandchildren.
    She was a sister of August Heining, Somerset; William Heining, Mrs.
  George Gray and Mrs. Harry Sweeney, all of Garrett. 
    Funeral service was held Friday afternoon at Center Church, with Rev.
  William Phennicie, pastor of Garrett Church of the Brethren, officiating. 
  Interment was made in Center Church cemetery.  Arrangements were in charge
  of John L. Kravets Funeral Home, Monessen.
