He was born June 18, 1938 in Saltlick Township, a son of Emma Blystone Durstine and the late William F. Durstine. He was owner of the Durstine Construction Co. and Durstine Auto Parts of Acme. He was an active super-modified race car driver and member of the Motordrome Jennerstown and Bedford Speedway Racing Association. He belonged to the BPO Eks Mount Pleasant and the County Line Church of the Brethren. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Betty Hamm Durstine, four sons: Milton Leroy Jr., Dennis, Barry, and Brian and a daughter, Trina, all at home; one brother, William A. of Champion and four sisters, Mrs. Paul (Jean) Santucci of Mammoth; Mrs. Donald (Arlene) Sleasman and Mrs. Thomas (Shirley) Hamlin, both of Finley, Ohio and Janet Stillwagon of Champion. He was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys. Friends are being received at the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., Route 711, Melcroft where services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev.
