Born Aug. 24, 1917, in Garrett, a daughter of the late William Bockes and Sarah Ellen (Walters) Bockes. Preceded in death by husband, John W. and sons John Richard and John Howard Duvall. Survived by sons, Larry Eugene Duvall of Rockwood and Mickey Duvall of Stoystown; daughters, Rose M. Rice and Shirley J. Butler, both of Meyersdale, and Sally A. Dove of Bel Alton, Md.; 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Member of the United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women's Fellowship. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Joe Onder officiating. Interment will be held in the Union Cemetery, Meyersdale. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions may be made to the Meyersdale Fire Department or the United Methodist Church. She was born August 24, 1917, in Garrett, a daughter of the late William Bockes and Sarah Ellen (Walters) Bockes. She was preceded in death by husband, John W.
