Born in Somerset, she is the daughter of the late George H. and Emma Friedline Walker. She is survived by her husband, Wallace Duyer, Mission, Texas; daughter, Linda Duyer, Salisbury, Md.; son, George Duyer and his wife, Kathy, Germantown, Md.; two granddaughters, Emma and Sarah Duyer; two sisters, Ruth Stewart, Philadelphia, and Romaine Miller, Murrysville; and two brothers, Charles Walker, McConnelsburg, and A.J. Walker, Somerset. Mrs. Duyer is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md. She was also a guitar teacher. She enjoyed quilting and traveling. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Holloway Funeral Home, 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, Md. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
