    DWIRE
  
    Besse "Nana" Dwire, 97, of Meyersdale, died Jan. 5, 1998, at Meyersdale
  Manor.  Born Nov. 15, 1900, in Meyersdale.  Daughter of the late Simon and
  Clara (Witt) Bittner.  Also preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth
  "Betty" Meyers; four sisters and two brothers.  Loving and devoted grandma
  to grandsons: Thomas Meyers, Findlay, Ohio, and Fred Meyers, Meyersdale;
  great-grandchildren: Scott Hayes, Chris Hayes, Missy Hayes, Stephen Meyers
  and Nathan Meyers, and great-great-grandson: Alex Hayes.  Friends will be
  received from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale,
  where service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, with Pastor Albert
  Valentine officiating.  Interment, St. John's Temple Cemetery, Meyersdale.
