    Margaret E. (Peggy) Dwire, 79, South Rosina Ave., Somerset, died Oct 25,
  1997, at Patriot Manor.  Born Dec. 25, 1917, in Meyersdale, daughter of the
  late Oscar and Mary (Sluss) Merrill.  Preceded in death by husband, Willard
  A. Dwire in 1985; and brothers, Charles and James Merrill.  Survived by
  son, Willard A. Dwire Jr., Somerset; five grandchildren; 13
  great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.  Sister of Helen
  Strong and Thelma Coleman, both of Somerset and Edward Merrill of Las
  Vegas, Nev.  Member of First United Methodist Church of Somerset, Somerset
  Hospital Auxiliary, and Trinity Chapter No. 138, Order of the Easter Star,
  Somerset.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, at Wilbur D.
  Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where funeral service will be conducted at
  11 a.m., Wednesday.  Rev. Arthur Gotjen officiating.  Interment in Somerset
  County Memorial Park.  Order of the Eastern Star service at 7 p.m., Tuesday,
  at the funeral home.
