Born July 24, 1936, in Markleton. Son of Ray A. and Grace (Turney) Dwire. 1953 graduate of Somerset Area High School. Veteran of U.S. Air Force with two tours of duty in Vietnam. Retired with 22 years of service with rank of senior master sergeant. A licensed insurance agent for many years. A member of the United Methodist Church, Clovis, N.M., and VFW Carnine-Wiseman, Post 3280. Also member of Melrose (N.M.) Masonic Lodge 39, A.F.&A.M. Survived by wife, Billye, and a son, Steven Dwire, both of Clovis; daughter, Rhonda Dwire of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Robert and wife Joan of Confluence; Donald and wife Shirley of Somerset; two sisters, Nancy and husband Warren Conn, and Faye Jean and husband Clarence Fike, both of Confluence.
