All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ _______________________________________________ Lynette "Lyn" Leah (Fisher) Dykes, 44 Lynette "Lyn" Leah (Fisher) Dykes, 44, surrounded by some of her many friends and family, passed peacefully from this life to be with the Lord on Dec. 13, 2004, at 2:35 a.m. at the Austin Hospice Christopher House. Lyn was born on April 22, 1960, in Altoona, daughter of Terry Fisher, Somerset, and Diane Fisher, who passed away on Dec. 3, 1968. Also preceded in death by grandmother, Reba Wendel, and mother-in-law, Chrystine Dykes. Her great love and passion for music brought her together with her greatest love, her husband Omar and the light of her life, son, Jacob, both of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by a sister, Dawn Bonghi and her husband, Ross Bonghi, Altoona; brother, Curtis Fisher, Allentown; numerous nephews and nieces: Travis, Candice, Nicholas and his wife, Molly and Jonathan Bonghi, Gavin Fisher (who will be deployed to Iraq in January), Kara and Autumn Fisher and Darian Thayer; grandnieces and nephew: Faith Ann Bonghi, Ebin Bonghi, Madison Fisher and Darian Thayer. Sadly missed by father-in-law, Henry Dykes. Also survived by many aunts uncles and her two stepdaughters, Kelly Walker and Kerri Walter along with many friends who she considered her extended family. Lyn graduated from Altoona Area High School in 1978. Memorial service was held Dec. 15 at the Westlake Bible Church located at 9238 Bee Caves Road (Cuernavaca and Bee Caves). The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Jake Dykes trust fund c/o any Bank One and the Lyn Dykes Foundation to help defer medical expenses. 12/22/04 Daily American
