  WILLIAM F EAGLE
  
    William F. Eagle, 96, of Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, formerly of
  Rockwood RD 2, died May 2, 1997, at the manor.  Born Nov. 13, 1900, in Black
  Township, son of the late Charles and Minnie (Lichty) Eagle.  Preceded in
  death by wife, the former Grace R. Hauger, in 1983; son, Eldon; four
  brothers, and two sisters.  Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Member
  of Rockwood Church of the Brethren where he served as deacon and
  superintendent for many years.  Life long member of Rockwood Fire
  Department, retired coal miner who also worked at the Snyder Bakery in
  Rockwood, and a long time employee of Rockwood Insurance Company.  Friends
  will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Saturday at the Wilbur D. Miller
  Funeral Home, Rockwood.  Funeral service will be conducted 2pm Sunday at
  Rockwood Church of the Brethren.  Friends will be received one hour prior to
  the service.  Rev. Jay Christner, and Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh officiating.
  Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
