  DOROTHY ECKARD
  
    Dorothy J. Eckard, 58, Hyndman RD 1, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 1990, at
  the Hospice Unit, Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born June 24,
  1931, daughter of the late John L. and Emma E. (Glass) Shroyer.  Survived by
  husband, Albert F.  Eckard; two sisters: Mrs. Elizabeth Sullivan, Manheim,
  Pa., and Mrs. Claudine Coughenour, Berlin.  Former employee of Cumberland
  Memorial Hospital and McCrory's Department Store.  Member of Ellerslie
  United Methodist Church, Hyndman Grange and the WCTU.  Family will receive
  friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Thursday at Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home,
  Hyndman.  Services at 2pm Friday, March 2, at Ellerslie United Methodist
  Church, Ellerslie, Md., with the Rev. Dennis E. Dorsch officiating.
  Interment, Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland, Md.  Contributions may be made
  in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
