  FRANK ECKMAN
  
    Frank Eckman, 86, of Rockwood RD 3, died Dec. 1, 1988 in Siemon Lakeview
  Manor Estate.  Born July 9, 1902, a son of Frank and Augusta (Olson) Eckman.
  Survived by one son, William of La Plata, Md.; two daughters, Mrs. Jean
  Bennett, Woodstock, NY.; and Mrs. Nancy Heil of Somerset; two sisters, Miss
  Augusta Eckman and Miss Bertha Eckman, both of Berlin; eight grandchildren
  and two great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by his wife, Grace, and his
  daughter Carol.  A member of the New Centerville Volunteer Fire Department,
  member of Messiah Lutheran Church of New Centerville, Kingwood IOOF Lodge.
  Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood,
  from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Saturday and until 12:30 pm Sunday, when the remains
  will be removed to St. Michael's Church, Pine Hill, for funeral services at
  2 pm, the Rev. Gene Abel officiating.  No viewing at the church.  Interment,
  Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorials in
  his name to the Messiah Lutheran Church or Mt. Michael's Lutheran Church.
  Arrangements are under the direction of the William J. Wood Funeral Home,
  Rockwood, with Francis Brady supervising.
