  DALE EDMISTON
  
    Dale Eugene Edmiston, 76, of Rockwood died Dec. 28, 2000 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born May 5, 1924 in Acosta.  Son of Samuel Scott and Matilda Maude
  (Sheets) Edmiston.  Preceded in death by parents.  Survived by wife the former
  Mary Jane Phillippi to whom he was married 47 years; children, Mrs. Randy L.
  (Judy Ann) Faidley of Rockwood; David E. Edmistion married to the former
  Susan Nicholson of Rockwood, and grandchildren, Christina Faidley and
  Caroline and Joshua Edmiston.  Brother of Mrs. Lloyde C. (Adelaide) Garner
  of Portsmouth, Va.  Member of Somerset Alliance Church where he was a member
  of the choir.  A 1942 graduate of Somerset High School.  US Army Air Force
  veteran of WWII.  Owned and operated Dale Edmiston Services and a retired
  maintenance employee for Somerest County.  He had been a Little League coach
  in Rockwood for many years.  Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday
  at Hauger-Zeigle Funeral Home where service will be conducted at 1pm
  Saturday, Rev. James Vandervort officiating.  Interment, Rockwood IOOF
  Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to Somerset Alliance Church, 708
  Stoystown Road, Somerset, Pa.  15501.
