Edmunds, aged 67 years, was fatally stricken, at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7, while standing in front of a bus terminal in Annapolis, Md. Death was attributed to an acute heart ailment. Born in Annapolis, June 27, 1878, she was a daughter of Franklin and Wilmina (Susesky) Maley, natives of Germany. Surviving are two sons, Dr. F. A. Edmunds, Meyersdale, and J. C. Edmunds, New Kensington; one daughter, Mrs. J. Austin Wills, Connellsville; four sisters, Miss Anna J. Maley, Baltimore; Miss Emma Maley, Santa Monica, Cal.; Mrs. Lucie Ney, Chicago, and Mrs. P. B. Harshman, San Dimas, Cal.; and two brothers, J. R. Maley, Corapolis, and E. F. Maley, Okmulgee, Okla. Funeral services were held at the home of Dr. Edmunds at 3:30 on Wednesday afternoon, in charge of Rev. Sherwood Keiser, after which the body was removed to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Austin Wills, in Connellsville, where interment was made this (Thursday) afternoon in the family plot in Hill Grove Cemetery, where her husband, George H. Edmunds, and son, Homer, lay. Funeral arrangements were in charge of W. C. Price & Son. Meyersdale Republican, October 11, 1945
