  RALPH EGOLF
  
    Ralph J. Egolf, 79, of West Race St., Somerset, died Oct 3, 1979, in
  Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born July 28, 1900, in
  Buckstown, Pa., son of the late Henry H. and Sarah (Findley) Egolf.
  Survived by his wife, the former Emma Stahl, with whom he was united in
  marriage Oct, 22, 1921; and a son, Ralph J. Jr., of Somerset; also two
  granddaughters.  Preceded in death by these sisters and brothers: Mrs. Flora
  Stahl and Miss Laura Egolf, both of Somerset; Mrs. Ross K. (Verna) Miller,
  Somerset RD 1; and Ward and Dan, both of Somerset RD 1.  Mr. Egolf was a
  member of Grace United Methodist Church since 1914.  At the time of his
  death, he was a member of the church choir and taught the Fourfold Bible
  Class.  He was a member of the Retired Men's Chorus, and a past noble grand
  of the Somerset IOOF Lodge.  He retired in 1975 after 55 years with the
  Somerset Lumber Co. and Heiple Supply Co.  Friends received after 7pm
  Thursday (today) at the Richard E. Hauger Funreal Home.  Funeral service
  Saturday at 10am with the Rev. Theodore Cole.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
