  RUTH EGOLF
  
    Ruth B. Egolf, 86, of West Catherine Street, Somerset, died March 4,
  1993, while wintering in Tamarac, Fla.  Born April 26, 1906, in Milford
  Township, daughter of late Luther Charles and Minnie Mabel (Shank) Bowman.
  Preceded in death by husband, Ward, in 1987, and sisters, Mary Ellen Bowman
  and Olive Maust, and brother, Fred Bowman.  Survived by these children: Mrs.
  Carl (Shirley) Dumbauld, Fairport, NY; Mrs. Wayne (Alice) Emert, Somerset;
  Dr. Donald B. Egolf, Pittsburgh; also 5 grandsons and 2 great
  grandchildren.  Sister of Clyde Bowman of Somerset.  Member of Somerset
  Church of the Brethren.  Retired Somerset area schoolteacher.  Friends will
  be received from 2-9 pm Monday at Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where
  funeral service will be conducted at 11 am Tuesday, Rev. William Sleasman
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers,
  friends may contribute to Somerset Garden Club with the money to be used
  for planting of trees and flowers, which was her first love as a renowned
