  DAVID L. EICHER
  
    David L. Eicher, 69, died Nov. 24, in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born
  in Meyersdale Aug. 2, 1897, he was a son of the late Harry and Grace Lewis
  Eicher. 
    Surviving are his wife, the former Idella Shreffler; two sisters and
  three brothers; Clara L. Eicher, Akron; Walter H., Bridgeton, NJ; Mary E.
  Walters, Springfield, Ohio; H. Kent, Somerset; and James, Streetsboro. 
    He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Glassport, the Brotherhood
  of Railroad 954, American Legion of Glassport, VFW 553 of Somerset, FOE of
  Glassport and the WWI Post 3218.  He was a veteran of WWI and a member of
  Company C, 110 Infantry, 28th Division.
    Funeral service was held on Sunday afternoon in Walter S. Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Somerset, with Rev. William T. Doncaster officiating.  Interment was
  made in St. John's Cemetery.
