  Francis "Barney" Eisentrout, 81, Confluence, died Oct. 4, 2005, at his home. He
  was born June 4, 1924, in Confluence, a son of the late Ebenezer and Elizabeth
  (Nedrow) Eisentrout. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his
  wife, Ruth (Stein) Eisentrout; son, Fred Deal; and brothers, Charles and James.
  He is survived by son, Barney and wife, Linda, Berlin; daughter, Beverly Jarvis
  and husband Craig, daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Deal, all of Confluence;
  grandchildren, Craig Jarvis and wife, Amy, Ashley Jarvis, Travis Eisentrout,
  Fred Deal and wife, Mary, and Jonathan Deal; a great-granddaughter, Heather;
  brother Max Eisentrout, Salisbury; sisters, Beulah Miller, Addison; Margaret
  Kurtz and Doris Eisentrout, New Philadelphia, Ohio. He was a retired member of
  the United Mine Workers of America. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m.
  Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where a service will be held
  1:30 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Ronald Schaeffer officiating. Interment Addison
