Eisentrout, 64, of 112 Depot St., Salisbury, passed away May 13, 1990, at home. He was born Aug. 9, 1925, in Salisbury. Son of the late Charles and Martha (Smith) Eisentrout. Survived by his wife, the former Edna Mentzer; two stepdaughters, Donna Kunze, Ravena, Ohio, and Patricia Liber, Salineville, Ohio; a foster daughter, Ruth Deeth, Elkins, WVa; one sister, Vida Mae Livengood, Ravenna, Ohio; four step grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was a construction worker and electrician with the IBEW in Akron, Ohio. He was a WWII Veteran and served with the Army and Navy. Served also in the Korean Conflict. He was a deacon with the St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury. He was president of the Salisbury Lion's Club, life member and past commander of Walker Harris VFW Post 8826, past commander of Earl H. Opel Post 459 American Legion, life member of the DAV, and past VFW County Council commander. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 Tuesday at the Newman Funeral Home, formerly Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where service will be held 2pm Wednesday, Rev. David Fetter officiating. Military honors will be accorded by Walker Harris VFW Post 8826 and Earl H. Opel Post 459, American Legion. Interment will be at Salisbury Cemetery. Daily American, May 15, 1990 [E0108]
