  ALICE ELK
    
    Alice Elizabeth Elk, 80, of Somerset, died at her residence, April 13,
  1994.  Born April 11, 1914 in Spangler, Cambria County, daughter of the late
  Peter and Alice (Brown) Malloy.  Preceded in death by her husband, Roy Elk,
  who died Nov. 11, 1973; daughter, Donna Patterson; two brothers: Joseph and
  Rev. Fr. Michael Malloy, and two sisters: Agnes Gill and Margaret Leisinger.
  Survived by these children: John Dominic, Rome, NY.; Mrs. Pat (Stacey)
  Valero, Somerset RD 4; 10 grandchildren, six great grandchildren.  Sister of
  Mrs. Catherine Bouder, Somerset; Mrs. John (Mary) Darfler, Millvale; Mrs.
  Madge Carl, Hastings; Miss Laura Malloy, Somerset, and Lawrence Malloy,
  Wilkinsburg.  A retired licensed pratical nurse from the former Belvedere
  Hospital, Pittsburgh, retiring in 1969.  Member of St. Peter's Catholic
  Church and the 55 and Over Speeders.  Friends will be received from 7-9 pm
  Thursday and 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm Firday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home,
  where wake service will be held 8:45 pm Friday, Mass of Christian Burial at
  10 am Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, with Msgr. Samuel J.
  Tomaselli, celebrant.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
