    Mike Elko, 75, 7 Woods Drive, Lititz, Pa., formerly of Windber, died Jan.
  7, 1976, at Lancaster General Hospital.  Born Sept. 15, 1900, in Windber, son
  of Mike Sr. and Mary (Dzurica) Elko.
    Preceded in death by parents, and brothers, Joseph and John.  Survived by
  widow, former Susan Chappie, and these children: John, married to former
  Helen Nida, Leola, Pa.; Mildred, wife of Clair Amand, Lititz; and Carol,
  wife of Gilson Sheffer, Gettysburg; also five grandchildren. 
    Brother of Mrs. Mary Danko, Greensburg; Mrs. Anna Gladis and Mrs. Irene
  Shields, both of New York; Mrs. Helen Mihaly, Windber; and Mrs. Susan
  Borischak and Steve, both of Johnstown.  Member of Scalp Level Local 5229,
  UMWA, and St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church. 
    Funeral services Jan. 10 in charge of Kpeko-Lisiel Funeral Home.  Funeral
  Mass at St Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Gran.
  Interment, church cemetery.
