Deceased was a son of the late Henry Ellenberger, was born, raised and spent all his life in Allegheny Township. He was married a number of years ago to Amanda Philson. Deceased was a member of St. Luke's Reformed Church. He was widely known in thei section of the county. He was a veteran of the Civil War and served with distinction in the army. He is survived by the following children: Lewis J. of Allegheny Township; Hester and William at home; Sadie, of Berlin; Mrs. John Scheller, of Husband; Harry, of Columbus, Ohio and Robert, of Montane (Montana?).
