  RUSSELL ELLER JR.
  
    Russell Eller Jr., 76, East Second Street, Gray, died June 19, 1997, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Nov. 14, 1920, in Bedford County, son of the late
  Russell and Sarah E. (Kauffman) Eller.  Survived by wife, the former Leora
  Hoover, and these children: William and companion Debbie Benedict, Somerset
  RD; Linda Kensinger, Ralphton; Terry, married to Penny Showman, Kent Island,
  Md.; Patricia, wife of Tony Lightner, Rockville, Md.; Gail, wife of James
  Lash, Stryker, Ohio, and Robert and companion Sandy Beckner, Boswell RD; 16
  grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  Brother of Gerald, married to
  Margaret Schramka, Boswell RD.  Member of Christian and Missionary Alliance
  Church, Gray; Jenner Rod and Gun Club, Ferndale Sportsmen Club and the
  Somerset County Old-Timers Baseball Association.  Retired coal miner,
  carpenter.  Managed the former Somerset bowling lanes for several years.
  Observed 57th wedding anniversary Feb. 19, 1997.  Friends received from 2-4
  and 7-9 pm Saturday, and until time of service at 2pm Sunday at the Hoffman
  Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, with the Rev. C.J. Ickes officiating.
  Interment, Beam Cemetery near Gray.
