Ellifritz, 63, of New Creek, died Oct. 3, 1981 at his residence. He was born in Nethken, WVa., and was a son of the late Harry B. and Hazel (Tasker) Ellifritz Sr. He was a retired automobile mechanic, an Army veteran of WWII, member of Queens Point Memorial Post 6775 VFW, McCoole, and the New Creek Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Norma (Pancake) Ellifritz; three daughters, Mrs. Clarissa Sue Potts, Ligonier; Miss Rebecca L. Ellifritz, at home; Miss Hazel (Kathy) Ellifritz, Morgantown, WVa.; his step mother, Mrs. Edna (Catlett) Ellifritz, Ridgeville; a brother, Harry B. Ellifritz, Jr., Frostburg, Md.; four half-brothers, Robert H. Ellifirtz, Clayton, NC; Harold (Pete) Ellifritz, Antioch; Samuel Ellifritz, Ridgeville and Fred Ellifritz, Keyser, WVa.;and a sister, Mrs. Violet DeVelbliss, Nokesville, Va.; eight half sisters, Mrs. Juanita Whitacre, Martin, WVa.; Mrs. Betty Couch, Charlotte, NC.; Mrs. Jean Clayton, Mrs. Mary Canan, Mrs. Patsy Snyder, all of Burlington; Mrs Judy Reynolds, Fairbanks, Alaska; Mrs. Bonnie Jenkins, Keyser, and Mrs. Lois Rohrbaugh, Ridgeville, and two grandchildren. Friends were received at the Rotruck Funeral Home where services were conducted with the Rev. Herman Baliles officiating. Interment was in Potomac Memorial Gardens.
