    Gloria F. Elliott, 71, Confluence, passed away Feb. 18, 2008, at her home. Born April
  11, 1936, in Fairchance, a daughter of the late George and Elma Cole Shartzer. In
  addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Robert M.
  Elliott Sr.; and an infant grandson. Surviving are four children, Glenn Edward Mitchell
  and Anna, Markleysburg; George Randall Elliott and Lorie, New Kensington; Carrie Lynn
  Butler, at home; Robert M. Elliott Jr. and Trisha, Horner, W.Va.; eight grandchildren;
  three great-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, June Osler
  and husband, Herb, Pawleys Island, S.C.; and Mary Lou Lowe and husband, Robert, Chalk
  Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Wednesday and 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service, Thursday at the Donald R. Crawford
  Funeral Home, Farmington. The Rev. Arthur Gotjen officiating. Interment will follow in
  Sansom Chapel Cemetery, Farmington. A very special thanks to Natalie, Pete, Diane, Linda
  and Wendy of Fayette Home Care for their personal care.
