  ALICE ELLIS
  
    Alice C. Ellis, 75, of Somerset RD 2, died Jan. 16, 1982, at Memorial
  Hospital, Johnstown.
    She was born March 9, 1906, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Frank J.
  and Alice I. (Buchanan) Craig.  Also preceded in death by her husband, Harry
  Alfred Ellis; and two sisters: Edna Callio and Nellie Campbell.
    She is survived by children; Alice, wife of Dean Powell, Berlin RD 4; and
  Mrs. Nancy Rager of Bolivar; nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
  She was a sister of Russell Craig, Quincy; and Mrs. Gladys Erdmann,
  Vancouver, BC.
    She attended the Beulah United Methodist Church; was a graduate of the
  Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital Nursing School in 1925 and was a former
  supervisor at CVMH.
    Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where
  services were conducted with the Rev. Herbert Lohr officiating.  Interment,
  Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.
