  HILDA ELLWINGER
  
    Hilda L. Ellwinger, 74, Meyersdale, formerly of Hyndman, died Sunday,
  June 6, 1993 at Meyersdalel Manor Nursing Home.
    Born Jan. 1, 1919 in Hyndman, she was the daughter of the late George C.
  and Della (Stickler) Hughes.  She was also preceded in death by her sister
  Mildred Price.
    Mrs. Ellwinger was formerly employed as a secretary at Hyndman High
  School and for the Hyndman School Board.
    She had also been employed as a licensed practical nurse.  She was a
  member of New Hope United Church of Christ where she was a choir member.
    She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Jacob T. Ellwinger; one son,
  Terrence K. Stuby and his wife Kathryn, Lexington, NC; three grandchildren;
  two step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchilden.
    Friends were received at the Harvey Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman,
  Tuesday.  Services were conducted there Wednesday by the Rev. Steven D.
  Heintz.  Interment, Hyndman Cemetery.
