  ELLWINGER
  
  Jacob T. Ellwinger, 71, Meyersdale, died Feb. 24, 1997, at Meyersdale
  Manor.  Born Nov. 24, 1925, in South River, NJ., a son of the late Jacob F.
  and Lucy (Cunningham) Ellwinger.  Also preceded in death by wife, the former
  Hilda Stuby.  Survived by stepson and daughter-in-law, Terry and Kathryn
  Stuby, Lexington, N.C.; also 3 step-grandchildren and many friends and
  neighbors.  U.S. Coast Guard veteran.  Member of the New Hope United Church
  of Christ.  Retired in 1990 as a custodian for Meyersdale Area School, with
  18 years of service.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday
  at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 2
  p.m. Wednesday with Pastor Steven Heintz.  Interment, Hyndman Cemetery.
