  Betty A. Emerick, 80, of Murrysville, died Oct. 3, 2002 at her home.  She
  was born July 26, 1922 in Witkinsburg, a daughter of the late Reuben and
  Elizabeth Fenninghouse Harris.  She was a member of First  United Methodist
  Church of Murrysville and was a Sunday school teacher for many years.  She
  was a prior employee of Gimbels.  In addition to her parents, she was
  preceded in deat by her husband, Albert A. Emerick, in 1996; and a brother,
  Reese Harris.  She is survived by six children, Darien McCune and her husband
  Richard, of Duncansville; Dale and his wife, Donna.  of Nort Huntingdon; Gene
  and his wife Lynette, of Greensburg; Karer Harvey and her husband, Neal of
  Hooversville, Joanne Cipriani and Jeff Haines of Murrysville and David of
  Murrysville; 10 grandchildren and a sister, Ruby Sholes of Verona.
  Visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the John T.
  Hart Funeral Home, Murrysville Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m.
  Monday in the First United Methodist Church of Murrysville with the Rev
  James Wagner and the Rev. Mary Grey Emmett co-officiating.  Interment will
  follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park Delmont.  If desired, memorial
  contributions may be made to the Faith United Methodist Church, Delmont.
