  EMERICK
  
  Clifton C. Emerick, 89, of Hyndman RD 1, died Monday, June 14, 1993, at the
  Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  He was born near Hyndman, July 19,
  1903, a son of the late Christopher and Effie (Emerick) Emerick.  He was
  also preceded in death by his wife, Loretta E. (Campbell) Emerick, who died
  July 18, 1990, and by a brother, Robert Emerick.  He is survived by a son,
  Clyde C., and wife, Bertha, Buffalo Mills RD 1, and a daughter, Elsie L.,
  wife of Raymond E. Leydig, also of Buffalo Mills RD 1; five grandchildren
  and four great-grandchildren.  Mr.  Emerick was a retired farmer and coal
  miner.  He attended the Calvary Bible Church in Ellerslie, Md.  He was a
  member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 245, Cumberland, and
  former member of the Hyndman Senior Citizens.  Friends will be received from
  7 to 9 p.m.  Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Wednesday at the Harvey H.
  Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman.  Services at 2 p.m.  Thursday at the funeral
  home, with the Rev. Ken L. Korns officiating.  Interment, Hyndman Cemetery.
