  DELORES EMERICK 
  
  Delores J. Emerick, 53, of 1 Hyndman RD 1, died Friday, Sept. 1, 1989, at
  Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born May 31, 1936, at Cumberland,
  Md., she was the daughter of Vera (Mortzfeldt) Rowe, Cumberland, Md., and
  the late Charles Rowe.  She was a member of the Wills Mountain Church of
  Christ and was a past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hyndman
  Volunteer Fire Departmert.  Also surviving are her husband, Leo M. Emerick;
  one son, Edward C. Emerick; Hyndman; three sisters, Mrs. Shirley Waycaster,
  Drexel, N.C.; Mrs. Vera Huff, Bowling Green, Md.; Cumberland, Md.; and Mrs.
  Lillian Gelles, Cumberland, Md.; and one grandson.  Friends were received
  from at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman.  Services were
  conducted in the Comps Church at 11 a.m. Monday by the Rev. Harry T. Ryan.
  Interment, Comps Cemetery.
