Emerick, 94, of Glencoe RD 1, died Feb. 13, 1994, at Somerset Hospital. Born Sept. 26, 1899, at Comps Corner, Southampton Township, Somerset County, son of the late Richard C. and Martha M. (Kennell) Emerick. Preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Survived by his wife, Nora V. (Emerick) Emerick; son: Irvin Emerick, Carnegie; six daughters: Nancy Santavy, Greensburg; Doris Littleton, Goldsboro, N.C.; Eleanor Wolf, Casper, Wy.; Barbara Emerick, Carnegie; Betty Emerick, San Antonio, Texas; Kathryn Anderson, Casper, Wy. Survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and two brothers: Clelis Emerick, Folsom, and Leo Emerick, Cumberland, Md. Retired crane operator for the American Bridge Corp. and lived in the Pittsburgh area for 45 years prior to retirement. Member of the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church near Glencoe and the Hyndman Lodge 589, F.&A.M. Past member of the Hyndman Senior Citizens. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, with the Rev. James L. Fish Jr., officiating. Interment will be in the Comps Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where a Masonic funeral service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday by Hyndman Lodge 589.
