  EFFIE EMERICK
  
   Effie A. Emerick, 99, of Comps, died June 10, 1984 at the Maple Mountain
  Manor Nursing Home in Berlin.  She was born in Kennel's Mills, Somerset
  County, Feb. 18, 1885, and was a daughter of the late Solomon Emerick and
  Elizabeth (Albright) Emerick.  Her husband, Christopher Emerick, died Oct.
  25, 1985.  She was a former member of the Hyndman United Church of Christ.
  She is survived by one son, Clifton C. Emerick, Hyndman RD 1; two
  grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
  Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home where services
  were conducted by the Rev. Ken L. Korns.  Interment was in Comps Cemetery.
