  EMERICK 
  
  Ernest L. "Mike" Emerick, 66, of Friedens, Lake Stonycreak, died in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born April 15, 1910 in Shanksville, a son of
  Lee R. and Nellie Walker Emerick.  Survived by his widow, the former Edwina
  Meeker; son Lee, Landisville, Pa; a daughter, Mrs. William (Cherie)
  Glessner, Garrett RD 1; two grandchildren; brother, Harry M., Johnstown.  He
  was a member of the Christian Missionary and Alliance Church, Somerset,
  teacher of the adult class and a painting contractor for 39 years.  He was a
  member of Shanksville-Stonycreek School Board for 22 years.  Friends received
  after 2 p.m. Thursday at the Richard E. Hauger-Funeral Home.  Services Friday
  11 a.m. at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Rev. James Vandervort.
  Interment, Walker Cemetery.  Body will lie in state at the church from 10
  a.m. Friday until time of service.
