Emerick, 54, Glencoe RD 1, died Feb. 21, 1986, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born Jan. 13, 1932, in Glencoe, a son of Walter McClellan and Naomi Marie (Kennel) Emerick. Preceded in death by his father. Survived by his mother of Kennell's Mill; his wife, the former Doris Lambert; and these children: Jerry, Rupert, Idaho; Mrs. Scott (Debra) Anderson, Bennion, Utah; Diane, West Valley City, Utah; Mrs. Randy (Donna) Dively, Berlin; Darla, Jason, and Kara, both at home; also 10 grandchildren. Brother of Mrs. Homer (Viola) Gerhart, Meyersdale; Leo, Glencoe RD 1; Shirley, Hyndman RD 1; Mrs. Albert (Idella) Keefer, Meyersdale RD 4; Mrs. John (Mary Alice) Reese, Hyndman RD 1; and David, Glencoe RD 1. He was a heavy equipment operator for PBS Coal Co. and a member of LaVale Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and from 3-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin. Funeral service Monday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of LaVale Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cash Valley Road at Gamlich Road, LaVale, Md., Bishop Douglas B. Reineke and Elder Thomas C. Baker officiating. Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. The body will lie in state in the chapel from 1 p.m. until time of service Monday. Daily American, Feb. 22, 1986 [E191]
