  Gladys P. (Ringler) Emerick, 89, of Centerville, formerly of Meyersdale,
  died July 2, 1999, in Corry Manor, Corry.  She was born July 22, 1909, in
  Meyersdale, a daughter of the late Ira Calvin and Susan Elizabeth
  (Swindell) Shuck.  She was preceded in death by husbands Robert Ringler and
  Harvey Emerick.  She is survived by these children: Harold Wayne Ringler of
  Delaware, Robert J. Ringler of Texas and Una, wife of David Custer, of
  Centerville; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  She was a
  sister of Mildred Yoder and Mary Weimer, both of Meyersdale.  She was a
  member of Meyersdale Church of the Brethren.  She was a retired LPN from the
  Berlin Nursing Home.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Sunday at Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where the service will be held
  at 11 a.m., Monday with Pastor Mike Swick officiating.  Interment, Union
  Cemetery.
