Emerick, 77, of State Line, Hyndman RD 1, formerly of Fairhope, died Feb. 4, 1986, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born in Fairhope, Nov. 18, 1908, son of the late George W. and Edith (Kennell) Emerick. Retired car man for the B&O Railroad. Attended Fairhope Community Church. Belonged to Hyndman Grange #1954, Hyndman Senior Citizens and Brotherhood of Railway Car Men. Survived by wife, Mary (Custer) Emerick; three sons, Kenneth M., and Ray W., both at home; and Randy L.. Hyndman; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Lou Ohlet Stoystown RD 3; and Mrs. Yolanda J. Campbell, Hyndman RD 1; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, George A., Fairhope; and sister, Mrs. Goldie Crawford, Hyndman. Preceded in death by one son, Clifford and a daughter, Cecilia. Services at Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, Saturday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Leroy Logsdon officiating. Interment, Comps Cemetery.
