  LESTER C. EMERICK

    Lester C. Emerick, 52, died Aug. 22 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland,
  after an illness of eight years.
  Born Feb. 22, 1915, in Connellsville, he was a son of Mrs. Florence (Baker)
  Emerick, Berlin, and the late Russell L. Emerick.  He was a former employee
  of Kelly-Springfield Tire Co., Cumberland.
  Besides his mother, he is survived by three sons, Donald and Leslie
  Emerick, both of Wellersburg; and Fay Emerick, Cumberland; three daughters,
  Mrs. Patricia Ann Perdew, Patrick AFB, Fla.; Mrs. Paulette McCoy, Hyndman;
  and Mrs. Beverly Sue Kiefer, Bedford RD; 13 grandchildren; also a brother,
  Victor Emerick, Bethesda, Md.; and a sister, Mrs. Irene Valentine,
  Barrelville.
  Funeral service was held Friday afternoon in Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman,
  with Rev. John A. Klindt officiating.  Interment was made in Rest Lawn
  Memorial Gardens.
