    Lois J. Emerick, 77, Somerset, died Sept. 13, 2008, in Somerset. Born Aug. 15, 1931, in
  Somerset, the daughter of the late Virgil John and Vera Marie (Williams) Moyer. Also
  preceded in death by sister, Eleanor Petro. Survived by husband, Earl Emerick; daughter,
  Debra McGrady, Mechanicsburg; grandchildren, Matthew and Ryan McGrady; and brothers and
  sisters, Janet Croyle, Homestead, Fla.; Donald Moyer, Somerset; Wilber Moyer, Estero,
  Fla.; William Moyer, Johnstown; Shirley Rupert, Carlisle; Charles Moyer, Moneta, Va.;
  Terry Moyer, Camphill; and Linda Younkin, Somerset. The love of her life was her family,
  grandsons, Matthew and Ryan and her friends. Member of Calvary United Methodist Church,
  the Somerset Nurses Association. She worked as an LPN at Somerset Hospital and Somerset
  State Hospital. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev.
  Roger Peterson officiating. Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park. Contributions may
