MARTHA EMERICK

  Mrs. Martha Emerick, 76, wife of Richard Emerick, died March 22 at her home 
near Hyndman. She was a daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth (Baughman) Kennell and 
was born in Somerset County.  She resided at Fairhope until recently. 
  Surviving are her husband and eight children - Joanna Emerick, Philadelphia; 
George Emerick, Cumberland; Mrs. O. E. Mull, Seward; Mrs. Shannon Burkett, 
Hyndman; Mrs. Edward Shiuda, Philadelphia; Cletis Emerick, Joliet, Ill., and Leo 
Emerick, Hyndman.
  She was a sister of Clarence Kennell, residing in California; Edward, 
Kendalville, Ind.; Russell and Harry, both of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; Ward, 
Wellersburg, and Mrs. Simon Mull, Buffalo Mills.  Mrs. Emerick was a member of 
the Gladdens Reformed Church.  Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock 
Sunday afternoon at Comps Church, near Hyndman.  Rev. Charles Evans officiated.  
Interment was made in Comps Cemetery.
