  MEARL G. EMERICK
   
    Mearl G. Emerick, 67, of Hyndman RD 1, died Sept. 29, 1975, in Sacred
  Heart Hospital, Cumberland, where he had been a patient for a week.  Born
  April 21, 1908, in Hyndman, he was a son of the late George H. and Mary
  Ellen (Wilhelm) Emerick.
    He was a retired employe of the Celanese Fibers Company Amcelle Plant and
  was a member of Aerie 245, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Cumberland, and the
  Oscar Jordan Post 7375, VFW, in Hyndman.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Virginia Kennell; three sons, Kenneth
  M•and Ray C. Emerick, both of Hyndman RD 1; Wayne C. Emerick, Wiley Ford,
  W. Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Joan M. Lowery, Hyndman RD 1; also 18
  grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two brothers, Russell E.
  Emerick, Hyndman RD 1, and John M. Emerick, Cumberland.
    Funeral service was conducted Thursday afternoon, Oct. 2, in Zeigler
  Funeral Home, Hyndman, with Rev. William G. Patterson and Rev. Robert W.
  Hinkle officiating.  Interment in Palo Alto Cemetery.
