  EMERICK
  
    Naomi M. Emerick, 88, of Hyndman, formerly of Glencoe, died May 23, 1996,
  at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born Dec. 12, 1907, in Southampton
  Township, Somerset County, she was a daughter of the late Frank P. and
  Suzanne (Emerick) Kennell.  She also was preceded in death by her husband,
  Walter M. Emerick, on Nov. 20, 1974; a son, Frank Emerick; a granddaughter,
  Beverly Keefer; three brothers and six sisters.  Mrs. Emerick attended the
  Apostolic Church in Kennells Mills. Surviving are two sons, Leo Emerick and
  David Emerick, both of Glencoe; four daughter: Viola Gerhart, Meyersdale;
  Shirley Emerick, Hyndman; Idella Keefer, Meyersdale, and Mary Alice Reese,
  Hyndman RD I; a stepson, Arlo Emerick, Murrysville; a sister, Edna Deneen,
  Hooversville; 24 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 35
  great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
    Friends will bereceived at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman,
  from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and on Sunday for one hour prior to
  the service, which will be conducted at the funeral home at 2 p.m., with
  Pastor Paul Romesburg officiating.  Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, near
  Glencoe. Members of the immediate family will serve as pallbearers.
